AT DT Master Carbon, we own our carbon offsets portfolios including a mix of removal, preservation, and avoidance carbon offsets. We purchase a small number of carbon offsets from project developers for our own uses or for individual users. We retire at the end of the year for you on the voluntary market and you will receive a newsletter about what we have retired so far and what impacts you did on the planet.

Removal offsets: The highest quality of carbon offsets, indeed removal offsets directly remove GHG from the environment.

Preservation offsets: This offset can remove GHG from the environment, less efficient than removal offsets but brings a lot of biodiversity to the earth and the planet.

Avoidance offsets: This offset may reduce or avoid less GHG emissions than other offsets. Still, their benefits mainly come from the social co-benefits that they bring to the local community in need.
